Enlargement opened in 1993. Later in time we projected and built new
instalations like Naturavision, a showscan system cinema opened in 1995
and a dolphins breeding pool in 1997. In december 1999 opened the worlds
larger penguin encounter with an 80 mts. exhibition window. |

The
artic ecosystem is beeing built with over and subacuatic exhibitions.
Loro Parque keeps a perfect balance between exotic animals exhibitions
and the main educational and preserving tasks. |

It
has the greater parrots world collection (more than 300 species and
subspecies), a great gorilla's encounter and one of Europe's bigger
acuariums (more than 25.000 living species) with a naturally treatment
water filtration system. |
